Port de la Selva is a small coastal village in the Empordà region. It is situated in the North of the Cap the Creus peninsula and is very near to the French border. It enjoys idyllic beaches and a fascinatingly beatiful virgin and abrupt scenery. It is a very quiet village, far from noise and pollution, an appropriate place to take a restful holiday.

The sierra of Rodes and Cap de Creus conform a coastline that is full of very attractive bays. The water quality is surprisingly clear and crystalline and the surrounding rocky profile is very beautiful.

The seabed in this area is well known for its beauty and richness in both fauna and flora. There are plentiful of coral and phanerogram marine forests and an abundant variety of fish.
